In the beta build

The beta includes a separate pet-owner workspace, secure portal chat, and a staff queue for appointment requests. Text, email, and live payments require connected providers.

How staff complete the work

    Give the owner a secure account

    Owners sign in to see their pets, wellness information, clinic chat, appointment requests, and issued invoices.

  2. 02

    Send appointment requests to staff

    An owner chooses an available time or part of the day. Staff receive the request with the patient identified and review it against the clinic schedule.

  3. 03

    Keep the owner informed

    Staff confirm the appointment request. The owner can continue using the same portal for clinic chat, issued invoices, and payment access.

Questions clinic teams often ask

What can a pet owner see in the portal?

The beta portal provides a separate workspace for pets, wellness information, authenticated clinic chat, appointment requests, issued invoices, and payment access. Draft invoices and staff-only communication channels are not shown to owners.

Can an owner instantly book an appointment?

Not in the current beta. Owners can request an available time, and clinic staff review and confirm the request from the scheduling queue.

Can owners pay invoices through the portal?

The portal includes access to invoice payments, but taking real card payments requires provider onboarding and live credentials. Private-beta evaluations use test payments.

Can owners complete and sign intake forms online?

Not in the current beta build. Owner-completed digital intake and e-signatures are not implemented.
